Stratford-Upon-Avon
doesn’t have its own university but Stratford-Upon-Avon
College offers degree subjects and access
courses.
Access courses and foundation degrees are perfect for
those who want to go to university but feel that they
need to brush up on their learning and revising skills
or need that extra confidence boost before applying
for a place. Sometimes you can even use some of the
education points you’ve clocked up elsewhere to
go towards your degree course.
Stratford-Upon-Avon College offers the Access to
Higher Education Programme for mature learners as
well as foundation degrees in complimentary health, hospitality, information, media,
and theatre practices. Many of these degrees
are run in conjunction with nearby Coventry University.
Coventry University [map] has been offering higher
education courses for the past 150 years and today attracts
more than 4,000 new students each year. At this single
campus centre of learning amidst the Warwickshire countryside,
you can study for your first degree or postgraduate
qualification as a full or part-time student.
