Whilst your visit to South West London should include
all the serious museums and po-faced art galleries don’t

Start your search for laughs at one of London’s
premier comedy clubs, The Comedy Store. This Mecca
for all things funny is undoubtedly the best comedy venue
in the capital. Based at Haymarket House [map],
Oxendon Street, the central location means The Comedy
Store draws a very diverse crowd all with the need for
a laugh in common.
Best times to visit include Sundays and Wednesdays
for top improvisation from The Comedy Players and Tuesdays is topical comedy night from The
Cutting Edge.
Another famous comedy name is Jongleurs [map],
who’s home in SW is located at Lavender Gardens,
Clapham. Here you’ll find the usual list of top
Jongleurs comedy performers including those at the very
top of their game as well as emerging talent.
Not only does The Troubadour [map],
Old Brompton Street, hold fantastic soul nights there’s
also a comedy club there for all your laughter needs.
Combine copious amounts of alcohol with some top local
comedians at The Bedford [map],
Bedford Hill, or head to The Comedy Pub [map],
