Fine Dining In South East London |
 |
 |
Go for the ultimate
culinary experience and choose from a range of luxurious
restaurants offering cuisine from across the globe.
One of South East London’s newest restaurants has been whipping up a storm. Inside [map],
Greenwich South Street, is a minimalist-style restaurant
owned by top chef Guy Awford. Inside is one of
the hottest venues in the South East and you might
just spot a celebrity as you dine in style. Choose from
a menu of individual signature dishes and mouth-watering
desserts.
Enjoy some mouth-watering sushi and tempura at Inshoku [map],
Lower Marsh, Waterloo. Inshoku has a relaxed and laid
back atmosphere and offers a clean modern interior from
which to enjoy some fantastic Japanese cuisine.
Try excellent cuisine with some truly stunning
views at Le Pont de la Tour [map],
Butlers Wharf Building, 36 Shad Thames. Located in a converted
spice warehouse with views across the River Thames, Le
Pont de la Tour is a top class venue offering modern European
cuisine with a Mediterranean slant. Choose
from a vast and varied menu that includes scallops provencale,
grilled dover sole or roast rabbit wrapped in pancetta
with girolles and mustard vinaigrette.
Perhaps when choosing a cuisine to enjoy “Peruvian”
doesn’t immediately spring to mind, but think on
as the Fina Estampa [map],
Tooley Street, which is close to London Bridge,
is leading the way for excellent cuisine. Choose from
an interesting menu of unique South American dishes,
as well as a great accompanying wine list.
The Tas Restaurant [map] offers the very best in Turkish cuisine. Located
at Borough High Street, this makes a welcome change to
dodgy kebab shops. Diners can choose from a menu of unusual
Turkish dishes as well as a good selection of wines
and beers. There’s also an excellent vegetarian
menu.
If you prefer an informal atmosphere why not try one of
the gastro-pubs that have taken the London dining scene
by storm. Choose from the very best including The Hartley [map],
Tower Bridge Road, or The Anchor and Hope [map],
The Cut.
