Bed & Breakfast in Plymouth |
 |
 |
If you’re
looking for a simple yet cosy base during your stay in
Plymouth then book a room at one of the city’s wide
variety of B&Bs that cater for all budgets.
Situated on The Hoe, where you’ll find the majority
of the city’s B&B’s, is Rainbow Lodge
[map],
a family run establishment that is within easy walking
distance of the city centre attractions. Most of the rooms
here have en suite facilities while vegetarians and carnivores
are catered for in the breakfast menu.
On the same stretch of road is Brittany Guest House
[map],
a charming Victorian house with reasonable rates and comfortable
accommodation. Many rooms are en suite, with a full English
or continental breakfast is served from 6.45am.
In the trendy West Hoe area you’ll find the Osmond Guest House [map] on Pier Street, set in an Edwardian building and close
to the train station and city centre. All the rooms are
well equipped with TV and tea/coffee-making facilities
while breakfast is served in a cosy, brightly decorated
dining room.
Not far from here, on Garden Crescent [map],
St Malo is a Victorian house offering modern, comfortable
B&B accommodation close to Plymouth Hoe. Overlooking
the tennis courts and only a short walk from the sea,
this place is set in a quiet location and all the rooms
have en suite facilities.
Also worth checking out are the Acorns and Lawns [map] on Citadel Road, which is close to the seafront, Drake
Hotel [map] on Lockyer Street, and the family-run Berkeleys
of St James [map].
