Plymouth
City Airport [map] offers business and private travellers a fast and reliable
service to the city from a number of UK cities, including
London Gatwick, as well as Dublin and Cork in the Republic
of Ireland. Located just four miles from the city centre, the airport has daily scheduled flights to and from Bristol, Manchester, Gatwick, Jersey and Newcastle. Inside the modern terminal building there is a coffee bar with ample seating, where you can sit and enjoy a light meal or a drink while waiting for your flight. There is also a shop selling newspapers, magazines and other necessities.
Getting to and from the airport… By Taxi Taxis from the airport to Plymouth city centre are operated by TaxiFast and are available 24 hours a day by using the special telephone in the main terminal building. By Bus There are no buses running directly to the airport from the city, although First Western National and Plymouth City Bus run services to nearby Derriford Road [map].
