| The railway
station in Oxford is situated off Botley Road to the
west of the city, but close to the city centre.
It provides frequent train connections to central London,
as well as Reading, Bournemouth, Manchester, Leeds and
Birmingham.
There are several pubs close to the rail station, including The Antiquity Hall [map],
which provides ale and Internet access, and The Honey
Pot [map],
Hollybush Row, which is a good place to sit outside, enjoy
some hearty food and indulge in a spot of people watching.
The Student Travel Association [map] (STA) can be found
on George Street, and is good for those planning
to move on from Oxford to further afield once their visit
is over.
Senior citizens in Oxford are eligible for a rail
