| Every race lover
worth his or her salt should head to Oxford and experience
some of its best tracks.
There might not be a horse racing track in the area but
you can still have lots of fun and the odd flutter on
four-legged friends of a different variety.
The GRA Oxford Stadium [map] can be found at Sandy Sandy
and offers premier dog racing in one
of the most modern stadiums in the UK.
With three glass-fronted executive suites, a 350-seat
restaurant, three bars and several fast food bars, this
is the perfect venue for a corporate or private night
out that’ll be packed with thrills and spills.
The action comes thick and fast with a new race every
15 minutes so there’s none of that hanging around
that you have to do at some race tracks.
And for those who never really grew up, why not get behind
the controls of your own Formula One car by heading
along to see the Oxford
Scalextric Club, who offer you the chance to relive
your childhood and race cars on a huge track consisting
of many twists and turns.
