Gay Bars in Oxford |
 |
 |
Get out and about
during your stay in Oxford and check out some of the best
gay bars and gay-friendly clubs and pubs.
Start your journey of discovery at Brewery Gate [map] on St Thomas Street, which is a gay-friendly pub that’s
steeped in history. Beloved by mature locals as well as
dashing young students, this is a great place to socialise
over a pint of real ale.
Monday night is gay night at The Old Fire Station [map] on George Street, and this means Flirt, which is
one of the biggest and best nights in the area. The Old
Fire Station is frequented by students so don’t
expect visitors to don their best garments for the evening,
still, it doesn’t mean that you can’t dress
to impress.
The Castle Tavern [map] on Paradise Street has it’s
own Rainbow Room and this is the perfect place
to meet like-minded gay and lesbian folk for a relaxed
evening of socialising.
If you’re keen to get dressed up and meet a prospective
partner then The Coven Club [map] on Oxpens Road hosts The Loveshack every Friday. This event should tick
all the boxes when it comes to fun and up for it nights
in Oxford.
