Budget Restaurants in Oxford |

If
you want to spend all your money on entertainment and
accommodation during your stay in Oxford you can still
eat like a prince in a fine selection of reasonably
priced cafes and restaurants.
Café Rico [map] on Gloucester Green,
is great if you’ve just stepped off the bus in
the nearby station and can’t wait any longer to
eat. Grab a seat outside and watch the world go buy
whilst enjoying some of the cut-price sandwiches on offer.
Café Something [map] is one of the coolest places in the neighbourhood
to dine. You’d never guess that the Walton Street
venue was so good on price too. Enjoy a homemade slice
of cake or go for a full English breakfast including
an excellent vegetarian option.
Wherever students linger you can guarantee some excellently
priced food and St Giles Café [map] is a particular favourite amongst the undergraduates
of Oxford. Offering snacks-a-plenty and some great hearty
meals you’ll probably return to St Giles again
and again.
For something a little more exotic head to The Rice
Box [map] on Cowley Road, where you’ll get plenty for your
money, however small the change in your pocket is. This
café serves rice and noodles in double
quick time and portions are huge. The Rice Box is a
particular favourite with hungry students and friendly
locals.
Italian-lovers will be able to enjoy anti-pasta, pasta
and pizza at knock-down prices at Gino’s [map] on Gloucester Green. This authentic little
restaurant is very popular and a fun night out
is guaranteed. You’ll also be able to sample some
great food from our Italian neighbours that is reasonably
priced.
