The Morning After in Nottingham |
 |
 |
If you’re
feeling worse for wear after a night out or just want
a decent breakfast, then you’re in luck because
Nottingham has a good choice of cafés, bistros
and classic greasy spoons.
As you would expect of the East Midlands' number one city,
there is the usual array of fast food restaurants, including
McDonalds, Burger King and KFC.
But if you’re after something a little different then why not
sample the delights at Thompsons Coffee Shop [map]
on Pelham Street in the city centre, where homemade breakfasts
are served everyday until lunchtime.
For a more upmarket experience head to Shaw’s
Cafe Bar [map] on Broad Street, where you can get a full English
breakfast, including veggie option, daily between
10:00am and 12:00pm.
Finally, O’Brien’s Irish Sandwich Bar [map] has
a good breakfast menu, which includes bacon and cheese
bagels and a hot Irish breakfast. And with two
branches, on Upper Parliament Street and Wheelergate, this place has become a firm favourite among
tourists, workers and students recovering from the night
before.
