Luxury Hotels in Nottingham |

 |
When it comes to
luxury, Nottingham is one of the best places to stay in
the Midlands with the wide range of deluxe accommodation it has to offer.
From stylish hotels in the city centre to beautiful swanky
lodges on the outskirts of town, this city is the perfect
place to spend a relaxing no-expenses-spared break.
There’s the Hilton Nottingham [map], which is part
of the world famous hotel chain and has a range of top
class facilities, including a restaurant, health club
and swimming pool. Situated on Milton Street in the heart
of Nottingham city centre, the hotel is within
walking distance of many local tourist attractions.
Alternatively there's the Nottingham Royal Moathouse [map] on Wollaton Street, which offers 210 well-designed
bedrooms including Crown Executive rooms, for that
extra special occasion. The hotel facilities here include
a 24-hour residents bar, two restaurants and a leisure
club, which has a nail salon, beauty treatment rooms,
sunbed, sauna, swimming pool and gym.
Located just up the road from here is the Citilodge
Hotel [map],
which offers plush accommodation at prices that won’t
break the bank. The 90 spacious bedrooms are air-conditioned
and brightly decorated in a contemporary style.
Room facilities include direct dial telephone, fast data
link, trouser press, colour TV with satellite stations
and tea and coffee making facilities.
Downstairs in the conservatory you’ll find a fine
restaurant, where a continental or full English breakfast
is served every morning under the palm tree. Guests can
also purchase day vouchers for the nearby David Lloyd
Health Club, which offers, indoor tennis courts, squash
courts, sauna, steam room, swimming pool and gym.
If you want to stay close to the historic Nottingham Castle
then check out the four star Park Plaza Hotel [map] on Maid Marian Way, which is within walking distance of
the castle, other attractions and the shopping centres.
The hotel offers 178 air-conditioned bedrooms, including
superior and executive rooms and suites. All rooms have
tea/coffee making facilities, mini-bar, safe, iron &
ironing board and high-speed Internet access.
Those who want to stay on the outskirts of the city, close
to the motorway network, could opt for the Dakota Hotel [map], which is just off the M1 and offers luxuriously
designed rooms with top facilities, or the Village
Hotel [map], which is also close to the motorway
and has a good range of leisure facilities.
Finally, on the outskirts of the city centre and close
to both the National Water Sports Centre and National
Tennis Centre, you’ll find the Nottingham Moat
House [map], which has 172 bedrooms along with
a new Club Motivation health and fitness club.
