Nottingham is home to a number of multiplex and art house cinemas, giving film lovers plenty of choice. The city’s busiest cinema is probably the UGC [map], which is part of the new Cornerhouse complex on Forman Street in the heart of Nottingham. This cinema has a number of screens and shows the latest Hollywood blockbusters. A little out of town on Redfield Way, you’ll find the Showcase Cinema [map], another multiplex showing a mix of new releases and classic favourites, whilst the Broadway Cinema and Media Centre [map] on Broad Street has a wide range of independent, arty, films. If you’re looking for somewhere to hold a kids party or a business conference then check out the Savoy Cinema [map] on Derby Road, which has screens available for private hire. |
