Restaurants In North West London |

No matter how great
a cook you are at home you can always learn a thing or
two by tasting the work of others, so why not get out
into north west London to see what there is to learn.
Fish is the dish of the day at Loch Fyne Restaurant [map] in Camden, where you’ll find quality seafood meals
in elegantly relaxed surroundings. At the other end of
the scale but also in Camden, you can enjoy (!) jellied
eels and traditional working class fare at Castle’s.
Gaining a reputation for good food without the rules that
come with restaurant dining, gastro pubs are becoming
more and more popular in North West London. Two of the
most celebrated are Salusbury [map],
NW6, for the Italian food and William IV [map],
close to Kensal Green tube station, for their Mediterranean
food. But for something a little different you could try
Camden’s Caribbean themed gastro pub The Lord
Stanley [map].
The sumptuous décor of Safir [map] in Hampstead compliments the food, as both demonstrate
the flavours of Morocco. As well as enjoying the cuisine,
diners can also feast their eyes on the hypnotic hip movements
of the belly dancers.
The area is host to two popular Japanese restaurants,
one in Golders Green the other in Willesden Green. The
family run Sushi-Say [map] in the heart of Willesden, is one of the premier sushi
experiences in the capital, popular with Japanese people
as well as non-Japanese. While Café Japan [map] is a cosy restaurant, which combines good service with
tasty meals, to create a satisfying experience.
And there’s something for everybody who likes a
taste of the Orient at the Singapore Sling [map],
NW1. This stylish four-floored restaurant has so much
to offer in terms of atmosphere and flavour, that you’ll
find it busy at any time of the day. What attracts the
crowds is the menu that encompasses flavours from countries
across South Asia including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand,
and China, as well as the multi-flavoured cocktails.
