Clubbing In North West London |
 |
 |
Your best dance moves are too good to be kept cooped up
in your bedroom so why not unleash them on a club night
in north west London.
Renowned for its great mix of club nights Camden Palace [map] is one of the top venues in London. Located in an
old theatre on the high street this club plays good music
– loud accompanied by a mesmerising light show.
With the dancefloor in the basement and five balconies
of nooks and bars your limb flailing moves should be perfectly
at home.
With an ever-changing line up but a constantly bohemian
chic atmosphere, the Purple Turtle [map] is another great
Camden bar/club with diversity as standard.
Meanwhile Camden’s Electric Ballroom [map] is a part time market, live music venue and club night
host all under one roof. In terms of clubbing the Ballroom
has two main nights, Sin City every Friday for
those who like black leather and rubber with their alternative
music and Shake every Saturday for those who would
rather don their afro wigs and get down to some funky
disco or booty shake to R ‘n’ B and Garage.
R ‘n’ B swingers and Hip Hop Playaz can also
head to The Establishment [map] by Swiss Cottage Tube station for three floors of head
bobbing sounds.
While retro pop fans should head for the Lockside Lounge
[map],
on a Sunday night for deep funk and psychedelic jazz.
