| Swatch Alternative Fashion

| If you want to discover
the next big thing in fashion design then this event is
the place to be. Held in The Old Truman Brewery on Brick
Lane you can see a fabulous array of creations by the
fashion stars of tomorrow. |
| Beltane Bash |
| 29th – 30th May
2005 |
| This is the annual
gathering of pagans, witches, wiccans, druids, odinists
and shamans at London’s Conway Hall. The event is
held to welcome the summer and features Morris dancing,
a huge drumming circle as well as plenty of live music
and street entertainment. |
| Notting Hill Carnival |
| 28th – 29th August
2005 |
| Originally started
by caribbean immigrants, this festival has come to symbolise
London’s cultural diversity. Expect the streets
to be packed full of revellers enjoying the music, colour
and cooking that evoke the carnival spirit. |
| Lord Mayor’s Show |
| 12th November 2005 |
| Each year as the Lord
Mayor's procession winds its way through the streets of
London, thousands line the streets to be a part of the
event. While millions more watch it on TV. This is one
of the cities biggest spectacles and as well as the procession
you can also enjoy with bands, floats, processions and
a military parade. |
| The Masters Tennis |
| 29th November - 4th
December 2005 |
| This event is the
season finale of the Delta Tour of Champions. Held at
the Albert Hall, expect to see some of the sport’s
biggest names competing in singles, doubles and exhibition
matches. |
