Guide to N.W. London |

North west London
has a number of theatres for you to choose from, showing everything from well loved
classics to contemporary topical work from new writers
and performers. Each of the seven theatres in the area
has a great programme of performances to keep audiences
coming back.
If you’re looking for entertainment but find yourself
at a loose end then make your way to the Tricycle Theatre
[map] on Kilburn High Road. Opened in 1980, this is probably
the most diverse entertainment centre in the area as it
a theatre, cinema, performance workshop centre and gallery
all under one roof.
The area is also home to a good range of live
music venues which attract the likes of high flying
chart acts at places like The Forum [map] as well as
the cream of up-and-coming talent at venues such as Dublin
Castle [map].
If you’d rather your music was non-stop with the
tunes so loud the beat pulsates through you, then there
are plenty of club nights for you vibrate to, playing
hard-core rock to smooth R’n’B and most genres
in between.
Hecklers, on the other hand, will find plenty of hangouts
to practice their put downs in north west London, Hampstead
has two dedicated comedy clubs and the area plays host to a number of comedy nights in
pubs, clubs and theatres.
