Leaving London
on four wheels is rarely easy however chauffeured out
on a bus or coach should be a lot less stressful. Getting out of north west London can be done via London’s distinctive red buses. Although not all of them are double deckers they do run from north west to areas across central and greater London. The wheels on the bus are supposed to go round and round but in London you may find that they only go round once or twice before you end up at a standstill. If you have any sort of time restriction to get in and out of London then a bus may not be the best option as they are just as likely to get stuck in London’s traffic as a car but if you do have the time sit back, relax and take in the sights on the way. Escaping the capital completely to explore one of the UK’s other top cities can be done by coach. National Express is the main coach operator in the UK with destinations in England, Scotland and Wales. However there are others including Greenline whose services are mainly to other areas in the south of England. Although there are collection points across the city, the main coach terminal is just across from Victoria train station. From here you could also take a coach to break free from the UK entirely. Eurolines offer services from London to Paris, Amsterdam, Lyon and Dublin with some special offers available at various time around the year. |
