Self-Catering in Newcastle |
 |
 |
When you choose
to make Newcastle your home from home, there's a range
of self-catering accommodation to give you the freedom
to live life your own way.
Self-catering accommodation in and around Newcastle comes
in a variety of shapes and costs, allowing you to live
like a Geordie for a week, a month or more.
For stylish and chic accommodation without the room service
you could try one of the apartments on the Baltic
Quays. The four apartments are contemporary in
design with great views across the local quaysides. This
accommodation sleeps up to six people and weekend rates
are available if your stay is particularly short.
Staying at Anderson House could be a
real home from home experience, as this accommodation
is a terrace house in a Newcastle suburb. This Edwardian
home comes fully equipped (so no need to pack the kitchen
sink) and is available on a week by week basis. The accommodation
itself can sleep up to five people and children are welcome.
Self-catering accommodation is also available at a barn
conversion in Gateshead. Known as the Woodpeckers and
Swallows this four star accommodation offers one-
and two- bedroom apartments starting from £250 per
week. Each apartment comes with a fitted kitchen and a
television, as well as secure parking.
Students who plan to spend the summer in the city can
take advantage of the reasonably priced self-catering
accommodation at the University of Northumbria [map].
Lovaine Hall is located on the city campus of the university
and this is where students can stay for around £10
per night. You will need to have valid student identification
to make use of this place to stay.
