of guest houses to choose from.

away by car and local countryside is not too far away
either.

calling you east, then Glen Esk Guest House [map] might fit the bill. Located in Whitley Bay this guest
house is convenient for all the local amenities as well
as trips into Newcastle. Families, hen and stag parties
and other large groups are all welcome to stay at this
hospitable location by the sea.

from the Chiron House Hotel [map].
This four-floored guest house is around a mile and a half
from the city centre and offers guests a country house
feel with modern facilities. Prices start from around

of diets.
If you’re willing to venture a little further away
then Braeside Holiday Guest House [map] in Sunderland could be another accommodation option. Located
