| Eating
out in the city can mean constantly flitting between the
flavours of France, Italy, China and India, but if you
need something different in your life then why not try
something that will spice up your suppertime.
If you've no idea where to start your culinary adventures
then an evening meal at Heartbreak Soup [map] should probably be the order of the day. The menu here
draws its flavours from around the world to create an
interesting combination of dishes. Deciding to come to
this Quayside eatery is easy but choosing what to have
may not be so simple.
There’s Chinese food and there’s exotic Chinese
food and Shangri La [map] on Stowell Street is very much in the latter category.
There will be plenty of the menu that you won’t
have had the chance to try by frequenting your local takeaway,
so there’s a real chance to introduce your tastebuds
to some new flavours.
For a slight variation on your typical Chinese, why not
try Kublai Khan [map] where Chinese and Mongolian flavours battle it out for
your attention on the menu. The food is served in a buffet
style so you can decide how much to tease your tastebuds
with the tantalising tastes. Located close to the Quayside
this is an interesting place to start your evening of
adventure.
