GO Events In Newcastle

	The home of the Geordie plays host to a number of exciting events throughout the year, however some annual events to keep an eye out for include:

Event:	CAMRA Newcastle Beer Festival
Date:	6th – 9th April 2005
Description:	Take your pick of from over 100 ales and ciders from around the country at these beer appreciation sessions at Newcastle University.

Event:	Newcastle Hoppings
Date:	17th – 25th June 2005
Description:	As Europe's largest travelling fun fair you can expect to find over 60 rides to thrill and entertain you. The event is opened on the first day by the Lord Mayor, the event is then officially open so you can ride all day!

Event:	Sunderland International Air Show
Date:	30th – 31st July 2005
Description:	If you’re in Newcastle then a trip to the nearby Seaburn Seafront in Sunderland for the air show could be a great day out for all the family. You can enjoy air displays by the Red Arrows, watch the Royal Air Force Parachute Display Team or learn more about aircraft at the stalls and exhibitions.
