After
a hard day’s work, shopping or sightseeing, you
may not feel like slaving over a hot stove. So why not
sit back, relax and let one of Liverpool’s best
takeaways deliver right to your door. Whether you’re after a curry, pizza, kebab, Chinese or just good old burger and chips, there is a takeaway in Liverpool to suit you. For pizza why not try American Pizza Slice [map] on Whitechapel, which has the usual choice of delicious pizzas and delivers within a three-mile radius of the city centre between 11am and 11:00pm. Another option for pizzas, along with kebabs and burgers, is Cosa Nostra [map] on Myrtle Parade, which also delivers within a three-mile radius. With more than 50 items on the menu Golden Hot Pizza [map] on centrally located Berry Street, is also worth trying. It stays open until the early hours and delivers until 2.30am on weekends. If you’re looking for a taste of the Orient, then place your order at the Ming Kee Restaurant [map] in Chinatown, which has a choice of more than 150 items and delivers within three miles of the city centre. The funky Thai restaurant, Orchid Spring [map], also has a great takeaway menu, which includes a 10% discount on items from the main restaurant menu, although there is no delivery service. If you’re after an Indian meal then check out Sanam Balti House [map] on Smithdown Road, near the Penny Lane area, which delivers within three miles. There are also plenty of fish and chip shops in the city centre and beyond, as well as all the usual fast food outlets like McDonalds, Burger King and KFC.
