Each city guide
has information about local bars and restaurants that
may be of particular interest to you. Using the guides Once you have selected a city guide to view, you will be able to find out about restaurants and bars in that city. From the home page click on the text of feature box marked ‘Restaurants & Bars’ found at the bottom of the page. If, however you have already begun to explore the city, just use the main right hand navigation menu (you can find the Restaurants & Bars option in ‘The guide’ section of the menu, it is the seventh option down). This will take you to a page where you can either choose to find out about restaurants in your chosen city by clicking on the text under ‘Go Restaurants in…’, you can find out about bars in your chosen city by clicking on the text under ‘Go Bars in….’ or you can search for restaurants in your chosen city by using the search function under the ‘Go Eat in…’ heading. Clicking on the ‘Go Restaurants in…’ text will take you to an overview of the restaurants in your selected city. Then, underneath this overview you will see a number of features boxes that offer information about different types of dining experiences namely: Go Budget – where you’ll find information about places that offer an inexpensive dining expeience Go Different – if you click here you’ll find information about usual restaurants in your selected city Go Sandwich Bar – where you’ll find places that offer sandwiches and lunchtime snacks. Go Fine Dining – where you’ll find suggestions for places that offer an expensive dinning experience. Go Takeaway – if you click here you’ll find information about places to eat that offer a takeaway or delivery service. Go Morning after – if you click here you’ll find out about places to eat that are open in the morning and offer breakfast. Go Vegetarian (not available for every city) – where you will find information about vegetarian restaurants as well as those that may not be exclusively vegetarian but may have a good selection for non meat eaters in your selected city. When you have finished reading about a particular type of dining experience you can use the crumb at the top left of the page to return to the restaurants overview page. Clicking on the ‘Go Bars in…’ text will take you to an overview of the bars in your selected city. Underneath this overview you will find two features. Go Dating – tells you about bars that are particular good for single people looking for a date, as well as where the speed dating venues in the area are. Go Gay Bars – tells you where the gay bars are in your selected city. When you have finished reading about a particular types of bars you can use the crumb at the top left of the page to return to the bars overview page. |
