You may think you’re in tip-top condition when you start your journey to Cambridge but sometimes accidents happen and people are taken ill.
The Addenbrooke Hospital [map] offers an accident and emergency ward and will most likely be the first place you are taken when you phone 999 (emergency number). To contact the accident and emergency department switchboard dial: (01223) 245 151.
Sometimes it’s not physical problems that cause us to lose sleep at night and it’s good to know that there’s plenty of confidential helplines in Cambridge to deal with those emotional issues that we find it hard to speak to our nearest and dearest about.
