GO Comedy In Cambridge

Comedy in Cambridge Cambridge is where people like Stephen Fry, John Cleese, Emma Thompson and Tony Slattery cut their teeth on the comedy circuit. Now with fresh young student talent on hand to make you laugh you’ll find plenty of places to have a great night out.

The ADC Theatre [map] is the place where the “Cambridge Footlights” perform every month. Smokers is held to unleash fast-paced comedy sketches onto members of the public but non-smokers are quite welcome too!

The Cambridge Arts Theatre [map] is the place you’re likely to see comedy drama, rather than stand-up.

The Boat Race [map] on East Road, is generally a live music venue but the last Sunday of every month brings a whole host of hilarity to the area when London’s finest comedians pop by to brighten up the “back to work” crowd.

If you’re looking for fun The Junction [map], Clifton Road, has it covered. Offering occasional comedy shows and top stand-up, The Junction is one of the best places to see the cream of British comedy.

Alternatively head to The Cambridge Corn Exchange [map], Wheeler Street, to enjoy some excellent talent in an attractive olde world theatre. You'll find new and traditional comedy on offer here that will keep everyone from your teenage niece to your grandma happy.
