GO Events In Cambridge

	Cambridge University is a noted local landmark that attracts visitors from around the world – however the city also plays host to some interesting annual events, which are also worthy of a visit including:

Event:	Feast EAST Food Festival
Date:	25th-26th February 2006
Description:	Based at Chilford Hall in Linton, this festival showcases the region’s food and drink. There are cookery demonstrations, competitions and plenty of produce on sale.

Event:	Strawberry Fair
Date:	4th June 2005
Description:	This musical festival boasts four separate stages and around 20 bands on Midsummer Common each year. As well as the music you can also enjoy circus performers and speciality foods in this volunteer run event.

Event:	Cambridge Folk Festival
Date:	28th – 31st July 2005
Description:	As one of the longest-running folk festivals in Europe, this annual events always proves popular. Country, Blues, Roots and Jazz all feature in this interesting local event.
