GO Car & Motorcycle

Getting Around in Cambridge The city centre in Cambridge is mostly pedestrianised and therefore the outer area is subject to congestion during commuter hours (e.g. early in the morning and early in the evening).

The best advice if you’re planning on coming into Cambridge city centre in your car or on your motorcycle is to consider using the Park and Ride scheme that Stagecoach Cambus has set up.

There are four such schemes at prominent places just on the outskirts of the town centre. For a minimal fee drivers can leave their vehicles and hop on one of the buses that takes them right into the heart of Cambridge city centre.

For more information about the Park and Ride scheme operating in Cambridge see the official council website.
