	If the sun, sea and sand of this costal city don’t hold much interest for you then maybe enjoying the city through one of its annual events is the way to make the most of Brighton. Some of Brighton’s annual event highlights include:

Event:	The Brighton Festival
Date:	Most of May 2005
Description:	This three-week event is billed as the country’s longest, biggest and boldest arts festival. A variety of locations across the city come alive with concerts, street theatre, dance and much, much more.

Event:	Brighton Kite Festival
Date:	9th - 10th July 2005
Description:	This free public festival held in Stanmer Park brings colour to the skies and a smile to the faces of the many visitors.

Event:	UK Jewish Film Festival
Date:	October 2005 (dates to be confirmed)
Description:	Since it first began in 1997, the Jewish Film Festival has aimed to “share the diversity of experiences”. This is done through a variety of films brought together from around the world to Brighton's Duke of York cinema and other smaller cinemas in central Brighton.

Event:	Brighton Pride
Date:	6th August 2005
Description:	Bright and Hove pride is one of the most popular events on the gay & lesbian calendar. Expect plenty of parties and a colourful parade from Madeira Drive to Preston Park. For more information about this event check out the Brighton Pride feature.
