Budget Restaurants in Blackpool |
 |
 |
Whether you’re after
a roast dinner, traditional fish and chips, pizza or curry, there’s
a budget café or restaurant in Blackpool serving good grub
at prices that won’t break the bank.
If you’re looking for a little sophistication with reasonably
priced menu then head to Truffles Restaurant & Steak House
[map]
on Topping Street. Here you can choose from old-fashioned home
cooked food, such as soup with crusty rolls, chargrilled steaks and
lasagne. The eatery often has promotions on, including a three-course
meal for under a tenner.
Priding itself on having ‘the best roast dinners in town’,
the Tuck In Café [map]
on Egerton Road offers a good choice of breakfasts and lunches for
less than a fiver.
Or there’s Tracies Tuck In [map]
on Bond Street, a family-run affair specialising in English food but
also serving a few international dishes, such as curry and chilli.
This place has won the Café of the Year Award before
now and offers very competitive prices.
For full-cooked breakfasts for under £3 and hot meal
for not much more, head to WE5 Café and Restaurant [map]
on Squires Gate Lane, which also has a good-priced children’s
menu and offers three-course Sunday lunch for under £5.
As you’d expect in Blackpool, the resort has its fair share
of fish and chip shops, most of which are located along the seafront
and offer a cheap but filling option for lunch or dinner.
One of the town’s finest fish bars is Thor's Plaice [map]
at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a Viking longship-style dining hall offer
meals for around £4.
The restaurants mentioned here are just the ‘tip of the iceberg’
where Blackpool’s budget eateries are concerned. There are many
more fast food places to be found along the Promenade and in the main
shopping areas.
