	Playing host to the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham often has an exhibition, concert or event going on. However there are a few annual highlights to look out for:

Event:	National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor Show
Date:	19th – 27th February 2006
Description:	Held at the NEC, this is your chance to get everything you need for a family summer adventure where you can make the most of the great outdoors.

Event:	BBC Garden’s World Live
Date:	15th – 19th June 2005
Description:	Whether you’re looking for floral inspiration or tools for the garden, this increasing popular event is for you. As well as indoor and outdoor gardens to enjoy, there’s also plenty of help and advice on hand in the form of talks and forums.

Event:	Fireworks Fantasia
Date:	17th July 2005 (date to be confirmed)
Description:	Combining orchestral flare with an exciting firework extravaganza in Birmingham’s Cannon Hill Park, this Prom’s style event is one the whole family can enjoy.

Event:	Birmingham Carnival
Date:	August 2005 (dates to be confirmed)
Description:	Colourful costumes and rhythmic music parade through the streets of Birmingham from Digbeth to the city centre, in this fun summer event.
