Getting around Belfast
by bus couldn’t be easier as Belfast’s bus services (and
most inter-city train services) are run by one company - Translink
who operate throughout the city.
The main bus station is called Belfast Europa Bus Station [map]
and can be found at Great Victoria Street. From here you can catch
several different Translink buses that can take you to every corner
of Belfast and surrounding County Antrim.
The Easibus service from Translink is designed to meet the
local community needs by providing a service that stops at centres
and clinics, local shops and shopping centres. These accessible vehicles
have low floors and can take wheelchairs. Centrelink
services provide a link between all the main bus and rail stations
in Belfast as well as the principal shopping areas and the Waterfront
Hall. Passengers with a valid bus or rail ticket can use some Centrelink
services free of charge. The service currently departs every 12 minutes.
Translink park and ride exists to encourage motorists to park their
cars and use public transport. Facilities are currently offered in
East Belfast at Station Street, Bridge Street and Middlepath Street.
In North Belfast the park and ride facility is located at York Street.
Translink bus and rail timetable enquiries are available by phoning:
44 (0)28 90 66 66 30 any day between 7am-10:00pm.
