Budget Restaurants in Aberdeen
||Aberdeen may well have
a strong association with one of the most profitable industries in
the world, but being the oil capital of Europe doesn’t make
it the most expensive for eating out.
There are a several of restaurants in and around the city offering
cheap and cheerful dining options, and here are a few of them to get
you on the right track.
Always a winner when you’re hungry and short of pennies is an
‘all you can eat’ Oriental buffet [map],
and there is a selection of those in the Granite City. Located on
Union Street in the heart of the city centre, Jimmy Chung’s
serves a buffet with a choice of more than 40 Chinese dishes every
day of the week.
Another well-priced eatery with a reputation for good food is Pizza
which is part of a national chain and is located on Union Street.
It offers fine Italian food at reasonable prices in a trendy but friendly
atmosphere, making it a hit with students, families and businesspeople
Finally, you could always opt for a little fast food, as Aberdeen
is home to two Burger King restaurants on Upperkirkgate [map]
and Union Street [map],
and three McDonalds. There is also a Pizza Hut on Union Bridge
which always has great special offers available.
